Modular filter systems supplied and installed by Filtermist Limited are manufactured from galvanised steel panels, and are designed to facilitate expansion of your extraction system as demand for extraction volume increases.
All filters are manufactured in accordance with E.U. Machine Directive, CE-marked accordingly, and are fully ATEX-approved.
Dust pre-separation inlet modules are incorporated into each filter and are equipped with a non-return mechanism.
The filter media installed within the steel unit is tubular in construction, and is manufactured to meet current and future legislation regarding dust in air tests.
Filter media cleaning is effected by a reverse air fan, situated in the air outlet of each filter module, with cleaning intervals being determined by the dust loading, and controlled by the electrical control system.
ATEX-tested and approved explosion relief doors are fitted to each module to minimise damage caused in the event of an explosion within the unit, and these doors also allow access to the clean side of the filter for normal maintenance.
The lower section of the filter houses the hopper unit, where filtered waste accumulates, and can be supplied in three design variants: chain, rotary valve or bin.
